Wow. I thought the car hit the quarter on the pavement and bounced back up until I saw it in slow-mo.
bluej said:dang. he/she actually dragged their mirror it looked like. amazing.
I wonder if the mirror or turning the wheel saved it... 'cause it seemed to bounce back pretty quick
also, BtG has an alternate view
supposedly an in-car is maybe coming?
I did that once at an Autox in the Mini with slicks. I was trying to really throw the car around to see if that was faster (there was a guy in a FSP BMW that drove violently and he was fast) and they had a sharp turn just before the finish line that resulted in my being on two wheels. I remember looking out my window and seeing nothing but concrete, I instinctively jerked the wheel to the left and the car came back down on all fours. Didn't take out any cones or the timing equipment. Luckily based on the course layout only a few people seemed to have noticed it. I went back to trying to have smooth inputs after that.
I never would've guessed that you could bring a car back onto all fours after going airborne and landing it very much on its side, but there you have it...
Also, there's a good chance that anyone driving a bargain-bin Kei car on the Nurburgring at 11/10ths is already a user on here

Good eye! I missed that the 1st play through.
I'm pretty sure a hard left crank on the wheel is what saved the day, though I'm still surprised it worked at that angle.
