Old Jaguar brochure - can’t sell the steak? Sell the sizzle

Now I know why that one dude (I'm bad with names) is into Jags - I love the image they sell to get you excited for a Jag.  Notice how as the line steps up the image of the guy steps up the success ladder.

1. You have a horse or two - get a 6 cyl sedan - might have kids and need those extra doors.
2. You own a sailboat - get the 6cyl coupe - no kids that need to get into the backseat.
3. You are a contractor - V12 sedan may need customers in the back.
4. You own a helicopter or the helicopter company - V12 coupe - the finest Jag. 

Those have always been great looking cars.

If they were only Honda reliable as well.  I guess you can't have everything.

That was back when Jaguar was making some of the most beautiful cars the world has ever seen.  You could almost justify the pain of having it need service every few months.
