I should change my insurance carrier.. been with statefarm since I was 20 (I am going to be 39 this year) and my rates just go up.
I can get a lot less if I go through american manufactorers.. I can get it through work

This puts you into a high risk driver's pool, along with the DUI folks. Yeah, my agent heard about it from me, but said "there's nothing I can do". I'll never buy from that company again. Ever.
in FL if your insurance lapses the company is required to notify the state... when they get that notification they suspend your license... when that happens you just go up to the DL office and pay a fee to get it taken care of... but we where never notified about the suspension (you'd think they'd require a certified letter or something)... almost 2 years later my wife got pulled over... you guess it... with a suspended licence... the cop "generously" let her walk the 1 1/2 miles home... because she had a baby with her and he'd have to wait for someone get her before she took kim in... but not before he took her licence and gave her all sorts of nice tickets... all said and done it cost us close to $1000 to get her driving again... the charges finally dropped for this last insurance renewal
been paying way to long to have never used my insurance... maybe one day i'll be in a fiery wreck and my legally required gambling will pay off...
