So, my bottle of Orange Goop is pretty darn empty. What does the hive use?
I'm not even seeing the brand on Amazon anymore. other citrus cleaners, yes.

For hands? Honestly I've found that a gentle hand soap and a very rough wash rag cleans better than any pumice based hand cleaner.
I try to wear gloves whenever possible.
Yes. For hands. I haven't found gloves that I like while wrenching, find them either too bulky (leather utility gloves) or tear (anything like neoprene/latex).
I like the no water aspect of the Orange Goop. Now, I'm seeing cherry.
I keep Fast Orange in the shop, but honestly the best way to get your hands spotless is to wash the dishes.
Harbor Freight 7mil Nitrile gloves are the only way to go IMO.
Not too thin, not too thick. Über cheap.

Left your screen name logged in? Is this really the misses lol.
Huh...don't remember buying it at HF

$10...minus the 20% off coupon that's always available..
Dishes are for the kids in our household. part of the mandatory non-paid rotating chore list.
If I have some orange hand cleaner around, I'll use it. Otherwise, Dawn works well. Plus 1 on the nitrile gloves.
I'm a big believer in nitrile gloves, too. I get them at Costco. But since some crud always gets through, I use Lava and a stiff brush.
Dawn rocks for cleaning pretty much anything greasy including hands. I do have a jug of GOJO in the shop.

+1 dish soap and coffee grounds.
I even use it in the school auto shop - the cherubs are believers now too!

about 6 months we switched to a walnut shell cleaner and it works better then anything ive ever used aside from a parts cleaning sink

I used to use the harbor freight 5mil ones but they kept breaking all the time. I switched to these 6mil Kleenguard G10 gloves recently http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012313F0 but now I might have to try the heavier duty HF gloves.
With the gloves I mostly just use hand soap or dish soap but if I forget the gloves gojo gets my hands to the level of cleanliness that I require.
Zep pumice hand cleaner is the best.
Fast orange pumice is the second best.
Dish soap isn't aggressive enough.

+1, came here to say this.
Yeah, I love the HF "heavy" nitrile gloves!
Other than that, I have some industrial green sand/pumice mix stuff that works really well.. Mine has been, er, liberated from some industrial work sites that we all helped pay for, so I hope I can find a source for when mine eventually runs out.
