Ahh, I've seen that on her website! I've used several of her recipes, but not that one yet!
So...when did I update this last...Oh, right, shade sails.
After that I did some grilling to test the vent fan and it works well
Plus, if you happen to have any mandarin oranges around, grill a few! Sounds weird, but these are TASTY!
The next weekend I decided to move ahead with edging the maple plywood on the bar top. Is this the best outdoor solution? Probably not. But it should last a few years, plus I'd already bought the materials.
Turned out pretty well. Not perfect, but not bad for my first time doing this.
Then I had a wild hair and hung some curtains.
These are outdoor patio curtains - water proof ones. The plan is I can draw them as the sun sets to block the light and heat from the west. Never used them before, we'll see what happens.
Then I strung up the movie rig...
Works great! the screen and projector together were about $100. I run the sound output into a small guitar amp I have and run the video of a Roku stick or DVD. So cool to sit at the bar under the stars an watch a flick!
