My wife has been involved in what I guess you'd call a fan-made short movie that exists in the Halo universe and they dropped their pilot tonight. I'm actually kind of impressed with some of the camera work they did and they did a fantastic job on the costumes. My wife's the one that's a little short to be a space marine.

Yeah this is really awesome production design. Fanfilms and independents always have the enthusiasm and knowledge, but don't always have the skill or resources to pull off solid production design, but this crew did a superb job.
Fan films really are a goldmine of creativity when it comes to maximizing resources.
