Black SUV with blacked out badges and windows, people tend to give you room.
Lotus Evora. Great looks. Love the color. Spectacular sound.
And as far as this pic is concerned, I love the clouds. That composistion was planned.
This is a damn hot fire pit. I finished off the burned-down embers with a pail of last year's dried pine cones. It'd be nice to grill a steak on this.
In reply to Gary :
It was at a fire pit like this once that I discovered how approachable casting aluminum is. I tossed in a full size 3.5" hard drive just to see what would happen. A while later I couldn't find it. I stirred around the ashes and discovered a pool of molten metal. And then I was happy.
The insides of a Ford Model T transmission. From lower left to upper right: the high gear spring can be seen. This is actuated by a hand lever which also acts on the low gear pedal and when pulled to the rear, actuates brakes in the rear wheels. Next is three drums; the transmission brake, low gear, and reverse. Pushing one of the three pedals clamps onto its corresponding drum. While driving Saturday, the foot brake stopped working. The three bands are line with cotton webbing and it appears that the brake band lining is very worn when comparing the adjustment to the other bands. The bands can be relined with original cotton webbing, wood, or Kevlar.
What's all this talk about getting good head? (From a Belgian strong blonde no less). Is this all there is? 😉
Annie's pic, but it's now on my phone.

I absolutely hate it when people use the term "brake oil". It's not oil. That phrase suggests that you can top off the brakes with some other sort of oil. Which you can, if you wish to destroy your braking system.
This ought to trigger some car audio purists. Sorry, but twisted and taped has worked very well for me the last 21 years of installing stereos.
