Oh yeah, that's one of my favorite castings. In fact they updated it with the big rear spoiler on that version and removed the plastic roof wing. And then they brought back the old version for some reason. They actually released both versions in different forms in 2019, one in the 5-pack like you have and the other type was in the Backroad Rally Series.

Dood. I need that 5 pack.

I remember having one of the original Escorts back in the 90s. That and a rally MR2 where my favorite Hot Wheels when I was a kid. Long gone now, If only I’d taken better care of my toys
Scored the red 89 944 turbo while grocery shopping tonight. Very flashy compared to the gold version.

I still have mine somewhere, but I'm not sure that's a good thing...I'm pretty sure I'm a hoarder and I can't afford a bigger house so it's a problem
I went to a die cast toy show sunday, I was able to score this for $5.00
Cars and Coffee at a hobby shop on Woodward. Figured I had to buy *something*.
Got lucky at Kroger this morning.
There was a new endcap at the Walmart featuring the fancy $5.49 cars with real riders. These two themes seem to be new, boulevard and wild terrain. Also a bunch of fast n furious cars were in the same display.
I bought the Bronco and the Ford GT, of course. I might have grabbed a Baja Bug and a 959 if I'd found any.
I think I'm going to try painting the Bronco, it'll be my first attempt at Hot Wheels customization since I was a kid. Hopefully I can do a better job now.
Over in the toy aisle, I scooped this 1/43rd Maisto rendition of the new Ranger in Falken livery, because Ranger in Falken livery.
And of all the oddities, someone had put this Matchbox GT500 into the Hot Wheels "loose" bin on the sidecap.
I want to get the rest of the ones shown on the back here.
I snagged these at Dollar Tree last weekend:

Boulevard was a premium series several years ago. I think the current version is a WM-exclusive.
Car Culture has a different theme for each case assortment.
Got a Matchbox 1971 MGB today from the rack at the grocery store.
While I'm posting pictures (and since this is actually a Hot Wheels thread) here are my original redline cars from when I was a kid. These are all circa 1968.

Interested in selling the Beetle?

I've had it for 52 years now, I think I'll keep it a while longer. Thanks anyway.

I believe it's actually a Chaparral 2G.
I was already more into AMT 1:25 models by the time Hot Wheels came out, so I never had too many of them. Prior to that I was collecting Matchbox cars, I still have a carrying case full of them from ~1960 through 1968 or so. Unfortunately most of the AMT models are long gone.

I know the feeling. I have a beat to hell F100 with 2 yellow dirt bikes in the back. Casting from 1979 so it's as old as I am. Mom painted it blue for me. I can never ever part with it.
I finally got a hold of a second 911gt1:
We have completely moved into the new house.... except the Hotwheels. This three day weekend is the plan, some of this stuff hasn't seen the light of day in ten years so do you want some pics as I go through stuff?
