My steadfast companion Fluffy, a long hair pure black cat, passed this morning. She had been declining very rapidly the last few days and was lying next to me when she quietly passed. I inherited her from friends who moved 10 years ago when she was about 5 years old. I already feel a big empty space in my life with her gone. I knew this day was coming, but I guess you are never really ready. She was my constant companion and would lay on my lap when I was reading or watching tv. Give you furry companions some love and extra treats in Fluffy's memory. Thanks for reading.
Real sorry to hear that, man.

No matter how much advance notice you have, you're never ready. Sorry for your loss

Don, as companion / guardian of 4 cats, my sincerest condolences to you. Cats definitely choose their people as much as vice versa. I'm happy she was near you when she went peacefully - that's the best possible outcome.
RIP Fluffy. It sucks losing a pet.

So sorry. There have only been 2 human losses in my life that have hurt more than the loss of my pets. They fill such an huge hole that you don't realize is there, until they're not.
While I'm sure that Milo would not have wanted Fluffy to be near him or his humans, I'm giving him a few extra scratches this morning in honor of Fluffy
Will do man, sorry about Fluffy. I've got a lap-magnet that will get some extra scratches tonight.
Sorry dude. I had my first real cat as an adult. He bonded with me by studying with me. He had a bad heart and died at 5. It killed me. I think I lasted two days before I had to adopt two kittens. I couldn't handle it.
Never had a cat that great again. Can't imagine after so many years. Sorry, it's just awful.
So sorry for your loss, Don. Losing a pet really is one of life's E36 M3tiest deals. But you gave her a good life, and that's all we can do. Which somehow never seems like enough.
