My back 2 acres is about 10-12 feet lower then the front 2 acres (where the house is) and when we have local flooding (happens somewhat regularly in our area) the ground becomes so saturated that we develop a small pond, this year has been the worst we've seen, it's reached the barn and had about 4" of water in it (dirt floor and no electrical so no problem). The shallowest point between the house and the barn as about 14-16" deep, I had to wade through it to go rescue the mower before it got any higher, luckily it made it through with no problems. I'd guess that the deepest part is between 2.5 and 3 feet deep.
This is before it reached the barn
Here's after the mower rescue
This is the shallow part, was also on a 35* day
And here's from last year when it wasn't quite as deep, gotta make the best of it

she spent the entire life of the battery of that thing driving around in the water. luckily the bumper on the mower hits right in the middle of the back plastic so it's perfect for giving her a bump when she'd get stuck and pushing it back to the garage to get recharged.

Awesome!!! We’ve got a similar situation. The girls and I spent about an hour making high-speed passes through the “lake” in the disco yesterday
We have a boat on Allatoona. Lake level is up 20 ft over the past week, now half our marina is underwater.

Thanks! Now that it’s all beautiful and not washing away, though, I kinda wanna take a fellow board member’s suggestion and do some kind of foot-friendly rocks :/
