I recently agreed to donate a 2cyl 2 stroke Daithatsu Engine/trans/radiator to a gentleman in Australia. The drivetrain was original equipment in a tuk tuk that he is restoring. Apparently, the import regs are fairly strict re: cleanliness etc. and I have no interest in being on the hook for additional fees if my idea of clean is different from theirs. Do any of you know of any sort of company in the US that is in the business of cleaning, preparing, crating and shipping of engines from here to there?

Absolutely! I'm friends with Lawrence, owner/operator of Aussie Car Imports, and that's all he does is car stuff, engines, parts, etc back and forth to Australia. Give him a call.
