So, how much snow did you guys in the NE get? Pittsburgh got around 7-8 inches of densely packed fine, wet snow. This morning its snowing a bit more but light flakes.
Oh, and to the "It's 65 and sunny here" people. I hate you.

Just north of Philly along I-95 we have about 3", but it's still coming down.
My office is farther north in NJ where apparently they got more, so I'm happy I brought work home with me and don't have to drive. While I don't mind driving in snow, I'm past the point in my life where I'll go into the office no matter the conditions. Especially when the office is ~50 miles away...
It's cold, dry snow and blowing all over the damn place. Some places are halfway up my thigh, other places are bare. Based on my piles from plowing though I say we have at least 12 inches so far and it's coming down hard still.

It's bloody hot here if that makes you feel any better, I felt like I was going to puke from the heat when I got back from lunch yesterday.
After all the snomageddonapaloozaofdoom talk we have a silty 1.5" on the ground and no more expected until Thursday. Making this the smallest storm of the week in NE PA. We had a 5" nuisance snow on Sunday and 6" predicted for Thursday.
It didn't stop the shameless news anchors from standing in the windiest spot they could find in a ski parka and describing it like the opening of hell itself.
Reaching the 3 foot mark and we have another 4 - 5 hours of blizzard conditions predicted. Then another 12 hours of normal snow until it is finally over.

Now we are talkin'! I'd already be on my way to the nearest mountain with the boards on the roof.
Missouri hasn't got E36 M3. I blame it on buying a snow blower and generator last year. We usually have at least few inches right now. This is the 5 day here:
It's truly terrible here in Richmond, VA! We already have a light dusting of snow on the ground and all the local schools are closed. The shoulders of some of the interstates are actually white with snow, and the temperatures hovering in the upper 20's has some people whispering nervously about, dare I say it, slippery roads! Aggghhh!!!! The humanity!!!!
ZOMG!!!! SNOW!!! IN THE WINTER!!! IN NEW ENGLAND!!!! It must be Global Warming. WE'RE ALL DOOOOOMED!!!!
Wow, 7-8 in the 'Burgh
Just 3 hours NW of you, here on the shores of Lake Erie and the Roller Coast, we got no new snow.
Here in Connecticut, we've gotten about eight inches of snow so far, which is about twenty two inches less than predicted. It's odd, though, that it started five hours early and has been snowing for 24 hours but hasn't built up to unmanageable levels yet. It's still coming down pretty hard. I just got home from work and have plowed once. It's 17 degrees and the wind is really blowing hard. There are some big drifts and some bare spots. There's nobody on the roads except cops and plows. I think I'm going to take the Miata out soon for some winter hoonage.
The forecast was dead on for South Jersey.. "up to 18 inches" we got about 3.. so yes, the forecast was right

Nah, you guys only got the tip of the big D before the storm went "Oh god oh god oh god, that was Jersey....eewwwww" Everyone else was probably spared by the storm due to it going to the ER to be checked for VD.
This just in: It's January.
Send some snow our way, the mountains are a bit dry. Not a lot, we're at about 90% of normal. We can always use it, that's our drinking water for the summer. Plus it's fun to play in.

Oh my god, I have to go to the store to buy milk, bread, and cigarettes! I love how everyone freaks out when there is snow coming
