That shield background is very common among Navy ships.
The USAF use them too. This was me 30 years ago.

Here's the reveal but no clean image of the logo...just a flag that's partially folded back on itself.
I don't get it, the article indicates that it's the same logo that was released in January...um, what am I missing, how is today unveiling anything?
