I'm late to the game but I threw on my GRM sweatshirt and it had shrunk; anyone seen any other cool (warm?) pullover hoodies with automotive themes floating around? Probably won't spend more that $60...

Got out of hoodies a few years back when my "precious" finally disintegrated. Recently bought a CMU hoodie to rep my daughter and I love it. The local SCCA had nice ones for $35 and I bought one of those. I am looking at a nice one from Ford. I might have a problem.

I have a 2XL Navy Blue GRM hoodie that shrunk. It can be yours for free. I've probably worn it less than 3 times.
As a thank you for moderating, GRM sends me a store gift cert every Christmas. The following year I bought another in dark gray in 3XL which shrunk down to the perfect size for me. Funny, I have that gray one on as I'm writing this. It really is a favorite of mine for comfort.
To anyone else, these GRM hoddies are great, just order one size too large so as to shrink to perfect size.
Furthermore, I'll be in Findlay and Fost this Weds.
My GRM hoodie shrank weird and I cannot wear it. It's plenty big enough, but it's too...short. Like it's wide enough for almost two of me but stops just below my belly button. It's bizarre. Not a huge deal.. I don't really wear sweaters often because its florida, but it is sort of a shame because i'll never wear it.
I dislike sweatshirts, but particularly hoodies. I much prefer something with a full zip. Usually find something at Costco.
I need to get a really big sweatshirt to wear over my hockey gear. It was 17 degrees with a slight breeze yesterday morning. Even a kid raised in Quebec finds that chilly at my age.

I ref about 60 outdoor games a year.
1-3 baselayers, 1 thick long sleeve cotton T, light fleece sweatshirt (mine is a zip-up I got for free from a former employer), equipment, then your jersey. Add a second jersey if still cold.
I learned during Covid that those neck gaiter masks will really keep your neck warm. I also have a skullcap for the ears.
When it's really cold I use these, though I put them on top of my toes and not underneath. Skates feel better.
Oh, I forgot: when it is really cold - probably anything below 10* F - any exposed skin gets Vaseline, bag balm (from the green tin), Vicks vapor rub, or tiger balm, or a mixture of any of the above.
I must have been "canoed". I ordered a Hoodie last night from GRM. Plus two hats, 5 t-shirts and a Classic Motorsports flag! I split it up between the two. They should combined the two stores. Then I renewed my subscriptions too.
