I am making a bottle cap table and am planning on using a clear epoxy for the bottle cap portion. Anyone have some experience with this? I have heard some dry with a yellowish tint and others come out a true clear. Any tips/ brands to having it come out clear?

You are talking about the pour-on self leveling bartop finish right? Let me go dig around the garage for the stuff I used, I'll see if I still have it.

The caps will tend to float. You may have to tip them to let the air out and push them down.

or hot glue them down before you pour

Yes, thats exactly what I am talking about. I intend to glue them down before I pour the epoxy.

Looks like you found the info from the other tread, but yeah same stuff from Home Depot everyone else mentioned. Expensive, but it worked well. Just take your time, and it will come out really nice.
