Does anyone know where to find, or even what the correct name is for temporary paint protective film that cars are typically shipped w/ from the factories? The white stuff?

I have a project at work, and my google skills aren't leading me to anything. All I keep getting is permanent paint protective films.

Any ideas??

Google carpet protection film. That's apparently what Griot's Garage was selling for that purpose a couple of years ago.

Very cool, but not what I was quite looking for. Need to protect some panels from paint damage while going thru the production line. I was looking more for the white stick on sheeting that is used to cover fenders, doors, piece parts of a car in transit.

The carpet protection film is the closest so far, might have to give it a try.
