"Ok, done with my first drawing. How do I let you know its ready for QC?"
"Oh. We don't do that here. We're not that fancy."

That time I attended a Time Attack "school" and there were a bunch of drivers completely new to driving on a track who were really struggling to safely drive the track, watch for marshals and for other cars even with an "instructor" in the car with them. Then at the end of the one day, 3 session "school" the organizers were happy to report that everyone had passed and they hoped to see them all back to compete for the season with them!
I bought a swapped vehicle and later discovered the reverse lights didn't work. No biggie, replace bulbs. That didn't fix it.
Contact the "builder" and ask 'Hey, when you guys did the engine and transmission swap on this car, did you make a BMW sensor work in the GM transmission or did you change the pigtail over to a GM connector for the the back up light switch? The reverse lights aren't working and changing the bulbs didn't fix it so I think the switch may have croaked'
'Oh, we never bothered with that, didn't think it was necessary.'
