Glad to see this thread is still alive! Long live the wagon! Guy passed me on I96 near Lansing the other day in a CTS-V Wagon :)
I'd forgotten about this thread, and never posted here. I love wagons, naturally, since I started out with one of these. This isn't it, but same color and model. I guess maybe it was too big to be a true shooting brake?
60 Plymouth Suburban.
I have owned a lot of cars since, but also had a 67 Impala, 78 Caprice, 85 Legacy 4x4, and 95 Accord, all wagons.
Current view of the the oldest and newest members of the fleet. The 04 Lancer Ralliart (my sixth wagon) has completed 9 years with us, the 14 Mazda 5 was added a few days ago.

we have a mazda5 and TSx wagon
Pretty similar! I thought about a TSx wagon to replace the lancer, but it's also automatic only just like the lancer, and a lot heavier. The power:weight is the same, and the lancer only needs regular fuel.
TSx is still a lot nicer car.

Yup I really like the quality of the tsx wagon. Of the 5 Honda wagons I have owned since 1980s, TSX is excellent quality wise. I have used 87 Costco gas for last 107k miles, no issues
my dads tsx wagon has 313k miles on 87 gas since new.

That's good to know, in case I ever decide to look at one of those again.
