The cars!
Sponsored by Chevrolet. The green Corvette has "427" on the hood. Almost all are SS's.
I think the second car I ever drove was Grandpa's 1965 Chevelle Malibu. It wasn't a convertible, and it wasn't an SS, but a 283 boasting 195 horsepower.
Pretty cool vid. I guess the cars are another reason to like that show.
There was a lot of auto sponsorship on TV shows back then. Bewitched probably had the coolest cars.
Steve McGarrett had a new full sized black Merc every season. Adam 12, iirc, had new Matador patrol cars...
That guy has a series of TV show car videos. I watched his "Get Smart" one and it was pretty decent. They bounced from Chrysler to GM products partway through the series run.

I Dream of Jeanie was loaded with Pontiacs.
So was My three sons.
We don't watch a lot of TV, but when we do it's mostly vintage, and Bewitched is PW's favourite. I know every episode in that video, and for car spotting, the Unicef episode it probably my favourite. Those housewives were driving some pretty nice hardware.
Hawaii 5-0 was definitely Ford sponsored, but the cop cars were all over the place, sometimes even using 2dr GM's.
When we watch Rockford files we always play spot the silver Vega. In almost every episode you see it at least once, sometimes several times. Apparently it belonged to one of the actors

Another game is to look for the same cars on different TV shows. The studios had a pool of cars they would use and reuse on all those shows.

Get Smart was undoubtedly my favorite TV show as a kid. Loved the intro. Got to thinking about the little 2-door roadster in the intro, and started watching videos. Red Sunbeam Tiger, blue Karmann Ghia, forgot about the Opel GT, and never knew the car in the pilot was a Ferrari, and I think there was an Alfa Romeo Spider. Anybody have a definitive list?

Yes, and the same cars throughout the same episode
CHiPs was a good one for that. You'd see the same cars multiple times in the same crash sequence.
Or the same cars in multiple episodes, often given a cheap repaint to make them look 'new'. The fresh paint job on an old car was a dead giveaway it was going to be crashed.

There is a black civilian light helicopter with gold numbers that shows up in dozens of movies, especially ones set in Europe. I think it is an Airbus H125, but I'm not sure.
I always watch for it. It's the Wilhelm Scream of aircraft.
And some of the cars, especially on Hawaii 5-0, are in really rough shape. When we were watching on a 21" set we didn't notice. On a 55" TV you see all the dents, dings and really bad paint. Or at least I do. When I point it out to PW she always says, yes, you're right I never noticed.
In the modern era, Toyota was sponsoring a lot of shows about a decade ago. Every once in a while a character would get into their car and make a clunky statement about one of it's features. I remember seeing it on Modern Family and Bones - the latter was particularly badly done.
It was a MK4.
We just started watching Simon and Simon from the beginning. Episode two is about a stolen Porsche.

Of course, that's how cars really were - they were dirty, the paint was faded, they had rust and dents, etc. It's one of those things I often notice in a movie that's set in earlier times - all too often, every car on the street is squeaky clean and has a paint job shinier than they ever were when new.
Most people in this discussion are probably already aware of this website but I'll post it anyway: the Internet Movie Cars Database, https://www.imcdb.org Despite the name they have plenty of TV shows too.

I remember finding that website many years ago. I was surprised how many Scion xB's were in movies.
I bought my suburban from a movie car business out in Hollywood. So if you see a white suburban 2500 in a movie, it might be parked in my driveway right now.
