Only the turbo available in game... Basically the same issue as with the E30, have to use the best because what we want isn't available.

'50's roadsters (early Le Mans, Sebring etc). Trans Am (although that's a hard one due to Forza's love of cubic inches )

Actually gonna suggest a vintage stock car series. Smokin Ez (I'm sorry, I never got your forum handle) has a Hudson, Deluxe Coupe, and Bel Air built up, and they're damn fun to drive. Only thing is that they'd have to only have four usable gears, just for accuracy.

The 944 Cup series is a bit more flexible than 944 Spec so we can run the turbo in the Super Cup class:

Can't do Porche's because too many are too cheap to get the pack ;) Since we have run a successful campaign of B-Spec, the next step up the ametuer/semi pro ladder would be either Spec Miata or WC IT. I think Ford Focus, Honda Civic, etc would be the logical step in the progression. From there we could move to rear wheel drive Spec Miata, then on to WC or Grand Am, what with the Boss 302 and ZL1 out(can you say Forza based Grand Am was a thought with this pair?)

Me, I would love to see a JDM 90's GT300 series. Japanese rear wheel drive, 1992- 2002, 300hp, race weight, race cage, Race trans, race suspension, race tires(245F/265R), all turbo or na. Just my own personal thoughts ;)

Oh yea, forgot they were in the car pack. Okay, if Porsche is out then I'm leaning towards the E30 M3 spec or IT-7 suggested earlier.

The ZL1 isn't in Grand-Am. The regular SS is though. Along with the E92 M3, 370Z, WRX STi, and whatever Porsche they're running this year.

Since I want to jump in on the next round, I would prefer the 80s/90s DTM, the 80's B-Spec, or WC IT. I really do not like single make series, personally.

I'd be up for that, as long as the tracks are all real racetracks, instead of Malibu Grand Prix E36 M3. Slow cars fast. Search SCCA/NASA rule books for minimum distance. Ignore "real" lap times, we've already discovered that Forza is an alternate reality, I'd just rather the cars "feel" like something based in reality.

I am still interested in doing drag tires for realistic tire wear for a future series, although IT7 is really a sprint race in real life so it wouldn't fit.

Hell maybe we could even do some 10 lap double header races.

The problem with multimake series is that significant balancing is required, see the B Spec cars... none of them have the same PI. It took over a week of college student time (which is like a month of working adult time) to develop those builds. We could take the easy way, like I did with Trans-Am, and make some mandatory parts choices (like tires) which keeps some of the really crazy builds out.

So, by my count, Spec IT7 is winning, so it'll be that or Trans-Am. If I'm organizing is shindig, it'll be a sorter series weeks wise, but be two races a night.

I'll be on tonight, running Trans-Am and IT7 for fun around 8:00pm. I'll try to post a build of my 7 for those interested and will make a new thread for the series.

That sounds good to me, please let us know when you post the IT7, would like to give it a try.

I will hop on at 8pm so I can build out an IT7 and maybe give the Cortina another shot.

If you don't own the rx7, and are too cheap to get (or have a legitimate reason), build something 80s and RWD that you can do all these mods to and tune to C425 with the flywheel or adding/subtracting exhaust and/or intake choices.
