Walked to the bathroom with assistance of a nurse. Have never cried so much in my life upon getting back to bed. Prognosis was greater than 80% for the loss of my left left, and about 30% that I'd loose both along with my pelvic bone. I certainly didn't simplify, but they've added lightness, without loosing limbs. Laying on my back I can bring my knees up past 45 degrees already. I told the wife to buy some lotto tickets after 2 of my surgeons stopped by and both had trouble keeping dry eyes. Pre op testing in the morning had been dicey as well as my lung capacity was below threshold recommended for use of general to be used in conjuction with a nerve block. I've never been more cognitive when waking up from surgery before. All focus was on my breathing, repeated request to exhale fully, cough after every 5th breath, attempts without o2 unsuccessfully a few times, being bagged twice in leui of o2. Saturated oxygen was very low for a few hours, but I had toes, that I could wiggle and calves that I could tighten and release.
