In reply to oldsaw: He has had several women make complaints and a couple of them got money for it. There are other odds and ends like the radio show guy that says Cain walked in and started harrassing the women there. There are several stories like that, but they are just rumors and hearsay. I am not Judge Wapner so I don't need indisputable facts to have an opinion on Cain. Frankly, I don't care one way or the other. I have no emotional investment in the Cain saga. It is just kind of fun to watch since he is such a train wreck. If nothing else, it is a welcome distraction to the upcoming Obama/Romney borefest.

In reply to both of you, pepper spray is used in liu of physical force. You can cause permanent damage unlike pepper spray. Its nicer in the long run.

Let's move on.

While the allegations against Cain have been buried they're is still smoke there. Most of us know that if you are paid off in a civil case most times they're is a nondisclosure agreement along with the payment. Hush money is what it's called. The nondisclosure just ensures you won't take the money and blab. If two women have come forward you can bet there are more in the wings who have their checks and will not speak a word about it due to being legally gagged. As an example? You don't hear these allegations with Romney or Bachmann. Maybe because there aren't any?

Gingrich, what a piece of work. The guy is the very definition of an opportunistic politician. If you want a DC outside, he's not your man. It's documented he's cheated on various wives and divorced numerous times but he can still find the breath to squawk on and on about family values. Evidently, voters on the right believe he means it even though he's proven again and again that the morals he wishes to force on the U.S. will not be followed by himself. Let's not even talk about the debt he ran up with Tiffany Jewelers for his third wife? Fiscally conservative? Yeah right.

The reason Newt will never win the primary- he worked with multiple Democrats over the years. He even teamed up with Pelosi (gasp)! In this political environment, that's suicide.

I'm affraid you're right, but it is ironic. He can't win becaue he has done exactly what most people in the country want them to do.

Just like how Huntsman will never be considered. He's too logical, too moderate, and is very familiar with foreign policy (especially China) Apparently everything you don't want in a Republican candidate He would even pull quite a few Dem votes if he was on the ballot. But as a Democrat, I am very happy that Cain and Newt are at the top of that sad little list.

I just remembered Rick Perry. He fell off the face of the earth pretty fast.

But Romney is just a depressed litlle wallflower right now. Maybe the Grand Ole Party will invite him to the dance floor when they realize all the "cool" kids can't dance.

I'm still waiting for you to tell me exactly what these settlements were for? Are you absolutely sure he signed them? Exactly how much were these payouts?

Romney is DOA. He created Obamacare first in Massachusetts. He's moderate so that means he won't pass the bogus RINO test.

Sadly it seems like he's the best choice the GOP has.

Cain is caught with his pants down. And for 13 years this time.

Maybe this one will span further than his restaurant association career so people around here will stop fussing at me about it.
