The Angels - Marseilles

I wore out about 6 cassettes of Angel City's Face to Face album back in the '70s working on my 69 Chevelle.
Finally found it on CD on Amazon. Wish I could get that Chevelle back....
Lately I've been on a big teenage girl music kick again. Paramore has been a steady sound in my head for a couple weeks. What's sad, they're coming to town in July but I won't go. I'd feel waaaay to out of place as a 43 year old man in a crown of teenage girls. I'd have the cops on me in a flash. "No officer, I mean it. I really like the music" ain't gonna cut it.

Crazy Heart was off my radar until Dan Bongino mentioned it on his podcast the other day. So Annie and I watched tonight. Good movie. Great music.
It's 8:30 and we're in front of the firepit. Great fire. So on Annie's phone we're listening to (and watching) live, a very good friend's speech in Nashville. I know that wouldn't go over well here so I won't post that, nor would I mention who it is. Oh, what the hell, I'm a dancer, so I will dance! It's the President. Also, on my phone and Bluetooth speaker we're concurrently listening to Huge Groove ... aka Eugene Grove.

Why the hell am I listening to Journey on a Monday night?
Incidentally, June 4 is the birthday of my heartthrob in grammar school (in the late fifties), whatever meaning that has. So, Loretta, if you're reading this forum, Happy 70th Birthday. Why would I even remember that? Journey does strange things to the mind.
So we had a good evening out with great friends Jan and (another) Gary at The Treehouse Tavern in Warwick, RI. After dinner we went back to our house for Bordeaux. We listened to this:
(I should add that my friend Gary crewed for a Zeitler FV team back in the Northeast SCCA Region in the late sixties/early seventies. I met him at the company we worked for in the seventies. He had a nice '69 TR6. Since then he's had a number of great cars including a phenominal Acura NSX, which unfortunately was totaled a couple years ago).
Anybody that follows this thread knows that I like PF. So Annie and I are in our sunroom (it's evening, so there's obviously no sun involved) and listening to music, sort of a "battle of the bands" kind of thing between us. This is what I proffered. I think I took the lead.
Saint Paul and the Broken Bones
What a specular performer he is. But I like the trombone guy. The group was in Newport last year at the Festival and we unfortunately missed them.
