Saw this go by on the Pandora screen.

What car is this? Looks Soviet to me, but much of their stuff was copied Italian and German. Maybe a big Alfa?

The side profile looks pretty similar to a Lada Riva but the details don't match up. If it's not a real car, I'd bet it was based on a Riva:

Lada Riva/Nova? "Choose Language" is broken on this Dutch site, but the side marker and C-pillar vent look like the pic?

The article says the Lada was based on the Polski Fiat, so it could be either from the side. Some models were identical with the C pillar vent, just different badges

Yup, Fiat sold the tooling to the Russkies. They replaced the 124's pushrod engine with a SOHC of their own design and revamped the suspension to deal with the harsh roads. The lineage is clear with the earlier models.

They were sold in the UK and Canada for a brief period.
