Cruised through my old neighborhood this morning on way to Dr's app. Spotted this guy on a rotisserie lift, I bet the hive can figure out what it is as I've got no idea.

My first guess was Opel GT, but that Z looks right on the money.

Bold move to suspend an old Z from the ends like that.

My first guess was the Opel as well, but the rear haunches aren't quite right.

Big reason I didn't guess opel was the clipped corner on the triangle window. The opel has a nice rounded corner that follows the line all the way back. The chassis on the rotisserie has the clipped corner like a 240.

Def not an Opel. It is the Opel GT killer 240z.

totally not opel GT, as they were not hatchback, and they have a B pillar.

+1 to 240z

I thought opel also at first glance but figured I'd run it by the experts. Datsun Z it is! Funny in the 5 years walking the dog through there never saw any interesting cars there but driving through 3 months after moving something pops up. I miss that neighborhood, lots of interesting cars and even a fellow forum member.

Weird how that works. I was driving to one of my arcade haunts a couple years ago and saw surfshibbys challenge rx7 on a lift. Turns out he's localish to where I now live.
