What is your favorite pie?

Time to settle this. 
 

I am not smart enough to limit the selection to only 3, or I can't do it on the free version. So honor system here. We can re-do this when we have a top 5 or so.

Disappointed by the lack of huckleberry as an option.  Had to choose "other berry" 

Done. Should be interesting to see how this comes out. I'm betting Apple is on top.

It's kinda odd seeing people pick something other than key lime.  

Pumpkin Pie, followed very closely by second place: Wick's Sugar Cream Pie !

No Dutch Apple? The superior apple pie. 

But fresh pumpkin is still my number one, especially when made with New England sugar pie pumpkins, none of that canned garbage.

While I'm not a fan, I didn't see either version of shoe fly pie either.

Can I have two slices?    In the summer it's 1 pint sliced strawberries, 1 pint blueberries 1 can of Cherry Pie filling; mix & pour into a crust.  Serve.

Winter? Tourtiere'.  A heavy Canadian meat pie with lots of nutmeg & cinnamon with thick brown gravy over the top.  We do it Christmas Eve.

Pie for Thanksgiving dessert?

Coffee Cake - my grandmother worked at a bakery in Chicago and would bring 3 coffee cakes to Thanksgiving.  I grew to love them over pie.  

Done.  I really only needed Key Lime but I picked a couple others that I like alright.

Seeing the discussion earlier I was ready for the poll. I'm not really a pie kind of guy. That coffee cake mentioned earlier sounds pretty good, though

Try serving harvard beets with that next time.

They are not interchangeable, but in general I love the Bif 3 pretty equally.

[edit]  Oh, yeah, Peach!  Put peach at about the same longitude as lemon meringue.

Key lime>Cherry>apple>pumpkin>???? there aren't too many pies I don't like... pie is probably my overall favorite dessert.

I'm saying through sunday. Mostly because the boards are notoriously quiet over the holidays, and into the weekend. 

Meh, favorite? I don't know.

I did just bake my first pie:

it's apple with habenero maple syrup, spices, and will be served hot with a chunk of melting sharp cheddar on top.
