me too, but i don't think we get to vote on the issue yet.
My balls are too big..
I'll take two whole marijuanas.
And my sister wants to move there.
In reply to t25torx:
Just dont do more than two, go up to three whole marijuanas and you might get the gay.
For what it's worth, does anyone around here give a flyin' berkeley about weed?
In reply to Derick Freese:
I'm interested in the legalization of marijuana. I plan to have kids and they will have an elevated risk of having epilepsy. I would rather have the option to use marijuana before shoving a fist full of pills down their throats that will give them dizziness, drowsiness, and anger problems along with other possible effects.
Nothing to do with the OP, but yes. Yes I do give a berkeley. And FWIW I've never smoked anything but a cigar.

i don't care about weed either way because i don't have a personal stake in it, but i do think it should be legal just because there is no good reason for it not to be legal.
but i do not, however, think that anyone should be forced to give anything to anyone by anyone in any level of government.. if the individual businesses want to give the stuff away, more power to them... but it's not any government's place to tell them that they have to give it away to anyone for any reason.
According to that article, at least one dispensary already had a similar program in place. From what I understand, this is fairly common in states with medical marijuana.
I mean, have you ever been at a pothead's house and not been offered a hit?

while I'm sitting here nursing my arthritic hands and trying to ignore my back pain … I realize I'd have to live in PRC to benefit from this … not worth it
Like everything New York does we plan to screw it up by allowing pot but only as a pill that has no buzz.
Legalized weed is cheaper and more reliable than cash for keeping the poor from revolting...we've evolved past gladiators and arenas are expensive.

It's no different from having the shops pay a tax that goes into a fund to pay for free pot for the poor, they're just cutting out the middlemen.

they are cutting out the middleman in something they have no need to be involved with in the first place..
Even better: Just let people grow the plants in their backyard. This isn't a pill made from pulverized unicorn skulls, it's an herbaceous plant.

this will happen as soon as Monsanto comes up with a special GMO seed that they have a patent on...
What about community weed gardens? Why can't the poor grow their own?
Big pharma has to provide even more expensive medicines for free to low income patients. Hell, a month's supply of my Klonipin is only $4. Subsidized medicine is nothing new.
In reply to novaderrik:
I think weed is too "open source" for that to happen

right up until they come up with a magical seed that somehow destroys or neutralizes any other breed it happens to mix spores or pollen with (or however the stuff reproduces)..
regarding subsidized medicine: it's bad regardless of who is forcing who to provide it.
Weed can be grown from trimmings of a mother plant and grafted to root stock. They call it cloning, but it's really no different than grafting an orange tree. As long as you keep grafting new scions to new rootstock, the plant doesn't change, just like navel oranges.
You don't even need to do that. Just take a cutting, as little as a single leaf, dip it in nutrient, put it into a small square of rock wool, place it in your hydro setup and watch it grow.
