My old Popular Mechanics metric socket set. I've had it for over 20 years, and use it pretty much any time I work on a car or bike.
A good magnet on a stick seems to come out every job.

Calipers and Philips screwdriver (more accurately the JIS variant).
I also use a knife all the time.
Automotive wise, I probably use some sort of ratchet the most.
Around the house I use a toothbrush the most. Once I rotate it out of teeth cleaning duty, a brush might used to clean up behind the faucets or used in the garage on projects.
Pocket knife, several times a day.

Otherwise, the answer is probably the 3/8" ratchet

I was going to say brain, so hands works.
Knife. 4" Smith and Wesson folding pocket knife. Best blade I've had on a knife so far.
Bifocal safety glasses. I can both see things and not get pokey bits in my eyes. They're on for just about every project for one or both of those reasons.

I think there is a cybertool that has scissors, but it is probably enormous.
IMHO, the perfect swiss army knife is not offered by Victorinox. That would be the following:
They got really close with the Compact. If it had a Phillips instead of a corkscrew, that'd be the one.

Yeah, this Cybertool is a 3-bay chassis. That's the upper limit for convenient pocket carry. I wouldn't want to add another bay for the scissors, but I could definitely do without one of the plain knife blades. Doesn't matter which.
Pocket knife, I always always carry one. Either a CRKT Fossil or one of several Kershaw I own.

IMHO, the perfect swiss army knife is not offered by Victorinox. That would be the following:
- Flathead that is also a bottle opener
- Large knife blade
- Scissors
- Phillips
They got really close with the Compact. If it had a Phillips instead of a corkscrew, that'd be the one.
This brings up a very grassroots possibility.
We mod cars, computers, weapons. We like watches, gadgets, gizmos. Some even mod nerf guns. So why not mod pocket knives or multi tools?
Relative low cost. Useful. Personal. Unique. Could be cool. Could even be a business opportunity. Or even something like custom order multi tools.
