I've had plenty of food dealership experiences. I just tell them what I can spend money wise (money down and payment) and if they can't do it, I walk and usually they are willing to work to get the deal done.

This is the greatest typo.

I'm not excusing it. But I get it.

FTFY.

I cannot in any way condone what this man has done, but having briefly owned a Subaru, I can understand how he feels.

Not condoning this, but why did he drive through the easiest part of the building to repair?  Right through the door they use to bring cars in?  Then again, doing that was hardly a smart move, as it ruins his future for a very long time, holding onto a crappy car is better than that.

If you added some music and convinced those guys to dance around a little bit, you could turn that into a Jardiance commercial.

Serious question here.

Has anyone EVER had a good dealership experience when buying a new car?

it's a never for me which is quite disappointing. Even with me being much older now, The game seems to much worse than it was a decade ago.

I've never had a bad experience with a dealer ever.  Now, I haven't bought many cars from dealers, most were either private party or company cars.  A quick count up gets me four new cars, and three late model used cars from new car dealers.  I've never had a single issue, padded bill, switcheroo, or any other problem ever.

I can't say that I've ever had a bad dealership experience any time that I've actually left with the car. I have walked out of plenty of places, though.

There was another time when I had a long conversation with a salesman over the phone and I was walking out the door with my checkbook in hand to buy the car that they had on the showroom floor when he called me back to say that they had decided to add a $5,000 "Market Adjustment" to the MSRP.

His courtesy saved me  about two hours of travel time, but cost him a sale.

This.

Rick Hendrick Chevy here in Charleston was the worst. I've been there twice. Once to try to buy a conversion van. The second time to show the GM the Ford van I bought instead of dealing with those shiny happy people.

My last two purchases have come from CarMax. The one before that was from Carvana. They are a breeze to deal with.

Nor have I....

I don't know where all the hate comes from towards dealers and I often wonder if it's not just internet keyboard jerks stirring things up.

BUT - in full disclosure - I worked for Porsche+Audi, Jaguar and Lexus dealers in my 30 year career, and I DID see some shenanigans.......those dealerships changed hands fairly quickly tho when things came to light and got their stuff straightened out right now by the factory. I have  bought 4 cars from dealerships since I've been out of the car bidness and it's always gone perfectly smoothly.

I also recognize that things might be different over at Nissan or Stellantis stores......you can't save people from their own stupidity. The guy in the video bought a $4K car that was a wholesale piece - not intended for retail - and then found out it had problems. How is that the dealership's fault? They even offered to buy it back......

The ones that bother me the most are the guys who threaten the dealer and sales people because there's a fault with the car - they didn't build the damn thing - and they'll fix it if given the chance before you lawyer up or start driving it into the showroom.

No. That hatred was there long before the internet.
