Of course the kite sail won't be so practical once they catch on and everyone's kites get tangled together, but they haven't caught on yet...hint hint 
What happens when there's an overpass, or sign across the highway, or a tree or something?
well.. obviously that is why they did it in austrailia.. kinda ruins the whole mad max thing though if they can just sail across the continent rather than fighting over dwindling sources of oil

Or a stoplight on their elevated expressway? 
HAve you seen that little tiny place called the outback? Not much anything out there, let along overpasses, signs or even other traffic.
