These used to be the hot ticket for junkyard intercoolers. As factory intercoolers go, they're pretty big. Good match for a car in the <=250HP range. Bottom is from an '87 Conquest, top is from an '88 Conquest. The '87 has thinner tubes, but more of them (probably cools better) and the '88 has thicker tubes, and fewer of them (probably flows better).

Free to a documented Challenge build, otherwise $20 each, plus shipping. I expect shipping would be <=$20 each in the lower 48. Let me know if you need measurements.

Still have these, anyone want to help me get them out of the garage?

One last try before I take them to the metal recycler.

In reply to ncd2294 :

Here you go, sorry for the delay. It's a hair over 21-1/2" at the widest point of the end tanks:

A hair under 18-1/2" at the narrowest point:

The core itself is about 16-1/2" wide:

8" tall:

And the top plate is a little under 2-3/4" wide (the core itself is probably 2-1/2" thick):

Thanks!
I need to do a CAD mockup and then I'll let you know.

If it's any consolation, the guy who bought them is putting a Volvo white block in a Toyota Tacoma. Hopefully he'll post a build thread here eventually.

You'll need to log in to post.
