Yeah, I know. FWD is a really bad idea for an LS. Nobody said I was that smart...
Any recommendations? Anything squirreled away you are ready to get rid of?
I'm thinking the 4T65-E HD. That would be from certain years of the Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS, and the Buick LaCrosse Super.
But you guys always have alternative ideas. What other ways can I couple an LS to a FWD trans in a Challenge friendly budget?
Thanks!

Got it.
Never mind. I was thinking cockeyed. I missed the fact that the LS4 (FWD LS) has a different bolt pattern than the other LS’s.
Thanks!
In reply to SVreX :
Yeah the fwd LS has the same bellhousing pattern as the fwd V6s.

Thanks! THATS the piece I needed to know.
Whatever is in the Tornado?
Or is it Toronado?
I hope you are stuffing the whole mess in the back of some other mess, cause that would be awesome

Find a cad drawing for an adapter plate for a boxster transaxle...

This, they were basically a sideways th400 I think.
The F40 seems to be the go to since it bolts up to the LS4. The Saabs that used the 60 degree v6 apparently have a slightly different bellhousing pattern.
