Helping a non car friend to get his newly acquired CJ5 on the road. It has a nice full GM swap -350, TH350, NP205 so we need a good used front '70's truck driveshaft with the NP205 flange then have a shop correct the length & modify for the CJ5 Dana diff.

IIRC that's really common off-road stuff; you're probably better off just going to the shop and telling them what you're doing. My local shop has a pile of common flanges sitting around.

Yes I did that before. Had an entire shaft made. It was $500, but was 2 piece.
I also had a Ford shaft shorted & modified to put a GM spline shaft on it. That one only cost @$100. It's much cheaper if one takes the shaft to the ds man.

I probably have what you need, have front shaft from an 85 k5 blazer with an np205. I can get a picture of the flange tomorrow so you can verify and we can go from there if it'll work

In reply to Patrick :

It turns out the stock GM front driveshaft for the NP205 only has @13 deg of travel due to the cv type dual Ujoint at the flange. Most suggest going to a 1310 then has @26deg. So I need to do more research for my friend.
