It would be easy enough to do. Most of us stay on and play till well after midnight anyways.
That would be great! I was thinking a 944 Spec series would be really cool. Of course the game only has the Turbo model but that could work if there's interest? Heck, we could mix in some E30's for variety as well?
I think this is great! I am also west coast and the B-spec race usually hits during dinner. I would totally support an 8pm PT race with spec 944s. Can you do an engine swap to get rid of the turbo like on the BMW 2002?
I just looked at engine swap for the 944 and the only option is a Panamera engine so looks like you can't ditch the turbo. We could run with 944 cup rules perhaps?
OH HAI GUYS.

I can't wait to kick some ass in the Lincoln! And I will kick some ass in the Lincoln.
I have been becoming pretty involved lately with a small Forza community called Built not Bought. Its kind of interesting. Let me try to summarize.
You have a "BNB" budget with which to buy and upgrade your car. You can enter different weekly events with your car to earn more money (for upgrades, or another car, etc.). In addition to that there is weekly "pay" to keep some money coming in. There are classifieds to buy used cars and parts. New parts prices are dictated by BNB (to level the playing field so to speak, since affinity changes prices). Stuff that is free in Forza also costs money, such as paint and decals.
A few things to note:
-Mostly a younger crowd. (teenagers)
-As far as I can tell, most online meets are drift related, and on the forum its pretty obvious.
-There are plenty of weekly "offline" events, many of which are time attack based. These often are limited to a certain class or build restrictions. (run the event at your leisure during the week, post a photo of your race result)
-There is a strong possibility I will run a BNB Autocross championship soon, I am going to look into that over the next week.
I probably have too much time on my hands (ya think?) but its a different way to play the game. If you are interested in poking around on the forum to see what is offered:

The Getting Started section covers things pretty well. If you have any questions I can answer them here
Sweet. Im all over the MGB-GT.
Bugeye. "Spec H Production" might be in the works.
Or at least a Donna Mae tribute..
oh man. GMC Vandura! I am making a van for drag racing.
I forsee lots and lots of A-Team vans in the lobbies next month...
found these on the net.... someone has the DLC already.
EDIT: screenshots of all here:

bumping this. again. It has come to my attention that the Porsche Expansion Pack DLC is half price now. 800 points. I guess I will pick that up tonight too.
Well damn. One of these days I'm gonna have to spend some money and get my car packs up to date
Just picked up the September DLC. Only had a chance to play with the van so far. It rocks!
I can't find the Sept. car pack ANYWHERE. Not on XBox Live, and not on the FM4 marketplace.
I went to the bing search on my Xbox and typed in Forza 4....it showed up under add ons in the game section. Maybe someone pulled the trigger to soon and it's since been taken down until the correct release date (tonight/tomorrow)?
An hour after I downloaded the pack, a system update came through and I haven't been able to get back on (had to leave for work) to see if it was still there.
The Sprite is a VERY quick car from F to C class, although it likes to spin.
The Alfa 33 is hilarious in that it likes to do wheelies in S class.
In reply to TheBootsy:
Hey! The hill climbing stuff was awesome last night (my game ID is Edge of Nerd). Apparently my Kinect microphone isn't working, but I was laughing my ass off the whole time.

This IS cool, but do they do any circuit racing, or is it all dorifto?
As far as wheel to wheel racing, to be honest I am not sure. I cant play multiplayer so havent looked around at what people are doing online. There are at least a few guys I think that might be interested in it if some online racing events were to occur.
There are time trials type stuff running every week, post a photo of your time to enter type stuff.
