It's almost like there isn't a long running racing series organized on this forum.

We are currently on our third or fourth sim/game, and like our 40th unique series.

In reply to BradLTL : Weird. I don't  see a single thing for Forza 7 going back for at least a couple months... but thanks for being a dick about it.

Wasn't.

The OP offered up a couple options for platforms, not just Forza.  I was simply calling out that we have a series that we would love to have more participants involved with if people were looking for somewhere to race.

I have been sim racing with Brad and a small group of others from here at GRM .  The good part of it is we all "know each other" and most if not all have some Motorsports experience as such we treat it like the real thing in terms of an emphasis on not crashing out other people.  Hell last night during a practice session I put it in the wall instead of hitting some in in front of me because I completely missed the brake point.  The racing is quite competitive but there is also a great bit of comradery to help people with tuning and there rac craft skills in the sim.  It is a lot of fun.  There is some smack talk (I have earned the name as the  Tangerine Torpedo laugh surprise)  That dates back to I think GT5?

Anyway we "race" Project Cars 2.  Every Wednesday we either race or practice with rooms opening up between 8:30 & 9:00 PM Eastern.  Brad usually hosts.  We are between seasons at the moment and are testing various cars for a stepped arrive and drive series.  The cars will be a fixed setup that we use once and then move on to another car and track the next week.  No tuning will be involved so for new players it is a great opportunity to jump in and not have to worry about the tuning of the cars that can make Project Cars a bit intimidating.

We would love to have others join in. New players are always welcome.  Just let us know and everyone will be glad to help with car setup, and or wheel settings and tips and tricks to making things work.

For you XBox gamers, you get Project Cars 2 as part of Games with Gold:

https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2020/03/31/games-with-gold-april-2020/

You could in theory run the same series as PS4, just without cross-play.

You'll need to log in to post.
