Find the pc.
In reply to Argo1 :
That sucks. I don't keep any money in mine and it is not linked to my bank or credit card.
Well, as I noted earlier, I got linked to Argo from a temporary Facebook posting (not with my real name) that was clearly associated to my PSN account (I believe I used the same name), so your info is out there in some very accessible way.
I have been messing with Assetto Corsa on PC. So far super impressed with the MASS amount of user created stuff (totally geeking out on some the classic stuff) I need to post a more complete review, probably better to do that in the Steam thread or a new thread.
Oh, and Dean, Bridgehampton is a very interesting track, I will post some pics.
I don't have time now, but I will post all the links you will need for collecting content. I can even put some stuff up on Google drive if needed. See if this looks familiar:
That first photo is the downhill after the bridge at the end of the front strait. That was a corner where bad things happen if you did not give it the proper respect due to the amount of speed you are carrying in to the down hill. I always tgaught there was a camber change as well. Like you picked up camber as you go down the hill.
It's a bit more sandy in other places. There are two "run off" corners on the course, the right hander 2nd corner after the corner shown above, it's a lot tighter then you would think, and the last corner (after the blind hill corner) which is also tighter then you would think.
There are half buried tires on some of the corners (don't know if those where there when you were). They look pretty vicious, but don't appear to have any effect in the game if you hit them.
Here is the link to the track (see the Assetto Corsa thread form more info):

I am wondering if I can reach out to the maker of the track as I see a couple things that I would change BUT they are little. The track is absolutely fantastic!!!
The maker is also wrong about the dates. The track was supposed to close in 1997 but delays in the sale and permits pushed that back a year. We raced there in 1998 with EMRA. We may have been the last sanctioned race there. It would be cool if I actually raced in the last race there. Not sure on that as the 1998 season was not suppose to have happened. Each event was subject to being canceled if the permits were approved. We were one of the last that is for sure.
You should be able to contact the developer on Racedepartment (comments section on the track show it as LilSki. I am sure they would love to hear from someone who actually raced there. It looks like the guy that built it is still very active on there.
I am going to have to look into how the sounds are done because I might try and update the Stinger sound. My car does not have a historic Stinger exhaust (headers into a single muffler running across the back of the car) but it is pretty "racey" (headers into separate short mufflers).
Tonight will be a test-n-tune night for the Caterhams. We'll run a full length race so we can judge fuel and tire use.
Unless you guys want to punt and do something else. I'm pretty tired and don't really care either way.
I liked last weeks formula. 20 min practice 10 min qual and 10 min race. (If we like the car) We can get 3 maybe four of these in to test various cars. Just please pick a track that we have run so we don't also have to learn the track while trying to evaluate a car.
So I learned tonight that you should not lick psychedelic frogs named Kermit.
Does that about sum it up?
