You guys missed out on some wild old school action last night. Dean and I tested out the 66 mustang (loosey goosey throttle steer goodness), the old Ferrari's, Testarosa and such (a different style of loosey goosey) then a quick jaunt in the Lotus 49 F1 cars (CRAZY engine sounds, and a weird combination of brake steer and understeer). It would be very interesting to see what some tuning could do for the Lotus (it seems to be setup for the old school top speed all straight and a few super tight corner type courses)
We tested on Nurmberg GT, which I though might be too big for the Mustang, but it was actually not bad.
It was good fun in those cars. A nice change from modern cars. The lotus was a hoot to drive. Old school of tossing it in getting it to take a set and hammer down.

Looks like I'll miss next Wednesday. My plane lands at 9pm, so I should be home around 10pm.
Brad. Have you updated the standings? Kind of curious as to where I am at. I know sauce is leading bit have no clue where anyone else is.

Here are the unofficial standings by my count. I wasn't sure whether Brad or Argo should get the points for Spa since they co-drove that one.
T.J. 92
Sauce 78
Dean 69
Air 64
Brad 25
Argo 16
I'm sick... probably out for tonight. Feel free to go on without me.
I am not sure who is around tonight. If we are short again, I am up for more goofing around...
...I did spot some trophy trucks that looked interesting...
In reply to aircooled :
We're definitely missing two, not sure about Argo. I'm fine with just messing around tonight, those trophy trucks look interesting.
So, what would you say is the most inappropriate track for trophy trucks?
Nurmburg GT has a good jump (although we ran that last week), what other track has a lot of off track area?
I won't make it home on time tonight.
See Air you have to keep these things secret less Argo bugs out. Oh and make sure ratings are off. I say trophy trucks on big willow.
Those were interesting. Way more fun than they should be.
Yes, those trophy trucks where interesting. An interesting challenge, and certainly a new way to experience some of the tracks.
I thought I had a replay saved, but apparently it was just a video clip (so no view changes available). We has some pretty spectacular crashes. When open wheel cars touch wheels, bad thing happen, when those wheels are 500lbs, REALLY bad things happen.
When u launched about 50 feet up at the corkscrew I almost died laughing.
Oh. Air you have to try the spec McClaren thing that sauce and TJ are doing. Really fun.

Argo, Brad, Dean?
Sauce, should we invite some of our McLaren friends to join our league?
In reply to T.J. :
I wouldn't be opposed to it, having more actual people instead of AI would be preferable and also good practice.
Do they like Trophy Trucks?
I'm still recovering, but should be able to perform at least as bad as usual this Wednesday.

Brad, I saw the 2 drink Tuesday piece in the magazine. Pressure is on to come up with a catchy name like that for our next season. You’ve been running leagues here for, what, 10 years and I don’t remember seeing anything in print about it.
