I actually got some photos of my car I will post them up. It would be cool if others would do the same.

I've been messing with weather settings. I've done three time run-throughs. (start the race. park on the side of the road. watch the weather.) Each race has been different. It's a wild card. I want weather to be a factor but not THE factor.
Shall we set you up in the GT-R Nismo?
Torque curves
Fuel mileage
Short shift
Better pull out of corners
All things for people to ponder.
In reply to dean1484:
Or just pick the Audi because it was the one you were rooting for in '05, like me. Don't practice or have any strategies, like me. And show up and have a great time, like me.
I think this race is going to be lots of fun.
I am looking forward to it actually.
Argo can you add a competitors section to your first post listing the people signed up and the car they are driving?
Exactly. All the best planning will be out the window when you exit the pits on a fresh set of slicks and it starts raining.
I was running consistent 3:42. Laps and able to get six laps out of a tank. However this does require some fuel saving.
I have another question. Is fuel usage determined by throttle position or by RPM in the game? The reason I ask is does down shifting to slow a car actually use fuel?
In reply to dean1484:
I think that it is RPM based. If I stand on it, I can run a 3:22 in the Courage-Judd but at that pace it will only do three full laps on fuel!
Current entrants list posted in the first post of the thread.
Don't forget Brad. He I running the same car I am but since the are paintable they will look different.
That is the power of 10,000 rpm. It's ability to suck fuel at an alarming rate.

Ya but they have live radar we have no clue.

I haven't turned on GT6 for a month or more, but this sounds fun. I may have enough credits to buy one of the cars, but not two, so whatever I buy will be what I bring if I make it.

Great TJ, love to have you. You can always win the Nissan GT-R Nismo in GT Academy. It also pays about $1m as well!
Running the delta wing has me intrigued. I know it's quite a bit slower than the other cars, but could the fuel savings make up for it?
@ spool. If you get 12 laps on a tank it can be a one stop race for you where as in my car it is going to be a 3 stop race.
Hmmmmmm. I might have to give it a shot!

You should drive the Delta Wing. It's a tail happy SOB. Perfect for you!

The Courage-Judd is a four stop minimum. It has pace but it comes at a price.

Haven't heard an official car update from Brad. He was originally on the Toyota TS030 (which isn't competitive) and talked about the Bentley Speed 8. Not sure his choice at this point.
In reply to Argo1:
Argo do you have a set of parameters for the race? I would like to do some practice with the room set like race night so I/we will have a better idea of what to expect. Also we need to get used to variable braking points due to wet or dry conditions.
In reply to Graefin10:
The room is just like listed at the top of this thread. Weather is 60% with 3 events.

Ok, sorry, I'll go back and read it more carefully.

I edited my original post. I'll run the Pug in French Racing Blue #27.
Still lodging an official protest against the no tuning rule. I can run pretty good times in the Toyota with a proper tune, or at least I used to be able to...
