Watched my team part like the red sea to allow three enemy light tanks to run directly up the middle, murder Snow playing arty, then stroll back to their own base.
wat.
That actually gets better once the kids all go back to school. If that bugs you too much, you can always platoon with a couple of good players. That way you know there's at least one or two others you can count on.

Howitzer 105mm.
Actually, any short barrelled howitzer that is lacking penetration and hits like a ton of bricks.
In an interesting twist on the Xbox version, they took away the 75mm howitzer from the Stuart.......that rendered the tank useless to me so it got sold. LoL

Other than switching tanks to something with armor or spending more time hiding, any tips on how to keep from getting tracked (and summarily blown up) in the ELC?
I feel like I avoid most of the shots, but almost everything that does tag me leaves me dead in the water.
If you have the spare silver, and plan on keeping the tank long term, throw some equipment at it(spall liner and enhanced suspension) will nearly stop that. Otherwise carry a small repair kit so you can fix it in a pinch(you can only do it once however)
I like playing the Howitzer on the Tilda. It is so slow yet when I hit you, you die. And I can do it from really far away.
Same thing with the M3 Sherman. Which I really like playing that tank. Any suggestions on a heavy that would play like an M3 Sherman?

If all my team goes one way, I take it upon myself to go the other and buy the idiots some time......That usually happens when I'm rolling in the Fury, thankfully, that tank is epic for acts of valor that gain you favor in Valhalla.
10 matches 9 wins today...wow
I really like playing with that M3 Stuart and the Howitzer.
Just fun.
Why should I not just reset my account and just start over...I am thinking about it strongly. I know more now than then and I think it would make for a very interesting battle

I wouldn't, and wtf? You still get the 75 derp on the m3 Stuart?

I have a horrendous player ranking mostly due to my own stupidity. I started really strong and then just went down hill. Fast.
Like a Tilda from a C130 fast.

Who cares, you'll turn that around very quickly so long as you stick to the mid tiers....
I am thinking of changing most of my tanks. I have no desire to go into really high tiers, from what I read there isn't the greatest game play up top.
Maybe I just need to change my tanks around abit and start having fun again. Although a Tier VI for the new world map would be fun...

I have 5 tier VII's, 1 tier VIII, and the rest(46 tanks) are III-VI
Its nice because I can play with pretty much any of my friends whether they're just starting or have played since day one.
I enjoy most of my tanks... I have from tier 1-9... I need another 6 million credits and I'll pick up my first tier10
3 tier9
11 tier8
13 tier7
13 tier6
14 tier5
1 tier4
3 tier3
4 tier2
1 tier1
21 of those are prems
I keep something from every tier so I can play with friends at different tier levels... but I don't play under tier6 solo... in fact after grinding tier8 and 9 tanks for a while i'll drop down to tier6 and I'm amazed at the low quality of players... go down to tier 3-5 and things just get worse... so the only time those tanks come out is when I have platoon buds to help sway the battle.
with that being said... I spent a lot of time at tier1-3 and then a lot more time at tier5... tier5 and 6 have some great tanks and it's easy to make credits at that lvl even without prem account... good place to spend lots of time :)

They adjusted our xp & silver earnings on the Xbox version at some point during my hiatus so we can actually advance without a premium account.....
Got lots of shots in last night not many kills
drives me nuts

Even if I don't get the confederate or top gun medals, I've been getting a lot of high caliber medals.....
The upside, I got this. The downside is I hate playing this tank. I have the option of a M7 or the Chaffee. What say you guys.
oh yeah, I got arty. LOVE PLAYING ARTY!!!!
GG... I love getting kalabanofs medals (SP)... still waiting for the one where I kill 4 or 5 arty... nothing more satisfying in a scout than killing those bastards... also an ace mastery in a loss is always kinda strange feeling.
anyway... for me the m7 was an epic tank... but I also used a 3 skill crew in it... it's to this day one of my highest wn8 tanks...
the chaffee is prob the better tank overall but it gets scout MM and is a light tank, the m7 is technically a med tank so it gets normal tier5 matchmaking instead so it'll never see tier8 tanks... both have good tier6 and 7 tanks in the line... the bulldog is considered one of the best scouts in the game, and the t71 is also a great scout... the t49 tier8 scout is more of a novelty (think kv2 that can move quickly) but statistically it's the worst of all the tier8 scout tanks
IMHO... if you haven't already... spend some time in tier6 meds before going to tier5+ scouts... also if you have a little money consider buying the m22 locust next time it's on sale to help out at least a few of your crew to get 6th sense on the commander... camo and 6th sense are the most important skills a scout can have.
I think I will burn the coin on an M7. I don't want to go back into scout land right now. Medium, Heavy and arty seem to be what I play best as.
m7 plays as a scout... it's very fragile and has a pew pew gun... just doesn't get as bad of matchmaking...
Finally ground my way up to the Bulldog. So far, its a lot of fun. I'm still working on the stock gun, and it looks like it gets a lot better once the its upgunned. (Apparently, another 50mm of pen and eventually an autoloader) Did the old "drive around him faster than he can crank the turret" to an IS-3 yesterday. Kept picking away at it (100hp at a time) until he popped. The only other tank I've ever been able to do that with is the Panzer Ic.
Bulldog with the autoloader is great but getting used to that 30 sec reload is difficult... Prob why I like the t71... Similar with a smaller clip buy only 20 sec reload...
