Damn, that felt good. Only 30 miles, but hey, a ride is a ride. Just extra diligent for small lakes, potholes, and drivers still thinking all the bikes are still in the shed.

In reply to Appleseed:
I noticed the potholes everywhere too. I logged about 125mi yesterday alone. Felt nice for a change.
I did 24 miles Saturday, 24 miles last night, and I'm going out for 25 tonight. Of course, I pedal my bike ;-)
Weather was so nice I had to get out and ride for just a little bit today, if only for half an hour. Still need to get the new tires and brakes on before I'll feel comfortable doing anything more.
You know, if you don't read "first" properly it appears as "fist" and there is soda all over my screen.
Ive been out 5 times already this year!! What took you so long. I would like to point out that I mainly ride a dirt bike and once there was snow on the ground and another time the mud was so icy I fell over standing still by having my feet slide down the hill I was one (it was a very painful ride).
Trolling aside. I enjoyed my first rode ride last Friday. It was awesome!
Today was my fourth consecutive riding day. C'mon, man! :) I've been cycling through the bikes, too. So far I've ridden the Bullet, the F4i, and the Twinstar. The BMW is very upset its turn tomorrow is canceled because of a rumored 8" of snow.
GF got her permit and her slot in the MSF BRC. By April, we should be truly rolling. :) You should come meet us for a ride, Appleseed! (And, of course, anyone who lives as close me as Appleseed does, you are welcome, too...)
The gods were with me this evening, somehow the harley came out of the shed and up through the mud of my backyard. So I went for a ~50 miler ride myself.
Dang that felt good!
And god, I love that bike.
Mine must have heard snow was coming and said "berkeley this, I want back in the house" last night.....now to buy a new clutch cable.
