flurries part three

Cold; dlurries; riding.

Three weekends in a row now; I think. At this rate I'm going to forget wgat warm weather riding is like.

Its snowing around Chicago. I'm about to say. "Berk it." and start riding. 5 months and no bike make Appleseed a dull boy.

just had to turn on my A/C today because the house was getting a little warm

My PMS it's at an all time high. I'd start riding, but with the temps getting into the upper 30s during the sunny part of the day, and dropping into the teens at night, there's a lot of black ice on my way to work at 5am.

I blame reinsuring my Miata. It's snowed more in the month since readding liability than it has here in Iowa the past two years combined.

The roads were finally starting to get clear here in the frozen north, so I was hoping to get out in the next week or three, but we got 6" of snow over the weekend in to this morning with more on the way... Hopefully the mild warm up to the mid-40's by the end of the week starts melting it all. I'm going nucking futs, to the point that even my girlfriend is ready for me to go on a trip.

Avoid hypothermia. Keep the shiny side up. Have fun!

(Biggest weather issue I've had to deal with lately are crazy-strong coastal winds.)

Spent the weekend at VIR. Way-southern Virginia, should be warm, right? 2 hrs into my return trip home I'm holed up in a Holiday Inn.

May as well trade the bike for a quad at this point.
