Re: XR200's. The two valve motor is pretty much identical from the very first bikes built up to now. For a couple years (IIRC '83-'84) they had an RFVC 4 valve engine which was basically a grenade with the pin pulled, the bigger RFVC bikes had issues too. Honda got it together with the '85 and up XR250/350/600 RFVC's but went back to the 2 valve motor for the 200. So if you happen to find an RFVC XR200, I think I'd pass that one up.
