Yes it was! I enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, we have a pretty good drive ahead of us tomorrow—straight out of Ohio. I heard we might stop to see the world's largest loaf of bread, though.

if you're in the right part of the state, there's the giant basket HQ for the basket weaving company. http://roadsidewonders.net/giant-basket-longaberger-headquarters/

Interesting numbers. If you move to Greenville and think there's only going to be 56k people living there, have I got a surprise for you.

I will second the roads down around Athens, they are a lot of fun. Also some of the Hocking Hills parks, cool stuff.

We're back on the road, and Tim fixed the death vibration!

He put some spring boosters in the rear springs with the help of Athens Automotive. Now the car is sitting higher, which is making the U-joint in the middle of the differential work at a less extreme angle. Now it's running much smoother.

Drove 1150 miles yesterday with three kids and a dog and was thinking about the old Benz. I can really eat the miles with a modern truck but I'm not sure I want to travel like this anymore. Keep enjoying your trip.

My advice is to try and put Ohio behind you as soon as possible.

Big Butter Jesus (aka Touchdown Jesus) has been replaced by 'missed it by this much' Jesus. Big Butter Jesus before:

and after.

That would also put you at the last Hudson Dealership and the Ypsilanti Heritage Museum featuring Tucker (from Ypsi) and Corvair (built in Ypsi)

One summer we took a low key vacation. This was 2 of the stops. The other 2 were the Bowling Green, KY Corvette assembly plant and the horse farms in Lexington, KY.
