This one might be a little hard to swallow: an extra $40,000 for 1 additional combined mpg. True, you also get 52 more horsepower than the next most powerful LS.

What else do you get? Basically, the LS 600h L is a personal limo, as the vehicle is more designed around the rear-seat occupants than the driver. That's not to say that it's a bore to drive, but this one pampers its passengers with more legroom that most movie theaters. Then there's the rear seats themselves: They recline, massage, heat and cool. The sound system, by the way, is also epic.

Is this one a viable alternative to an early Miata? Um, probably not. But for the exec who wants to ride in comfort--and also feel like they're saving the planet--then maybe this one makes sense.
