Ah I heard that they used a bunch of tube-framed "hat cars" for that movie, but didn't know it was a SLC chassis...great score! Could be quite a sleeper with a tonneau cover hiding the supercar-like bits underneath too
What do you do after creating a Le Mans-style prototype racer out of a kei car to win the $2000 Challenge? Assist other people with their own Frankenstein’s monster-like builds.

Forum member nocones is helping a friend with the “SL-C10.” Essentially, the end goal of the project is to mate a C10 truck body to the chassis of a Superlite SL-C–a mid-engine, purpose-built track toy.
The kicker here is that the chassis was used as the underpinnings of a car used in the 2014 film “Need for Speed.”
Check out this wild mid-engine truck build at the Need For Speed: SL-C10 a Noconesgarage build thread.
