Some highlights from running our Garage Rescue Miata at this past weekend’s autocross, an SCCA affair on the kart track at Daytona International Speedway:
Going for a ride with J.G. in our Corvette project car. Yeah, it’s fast.
Working with novices. Always rewarding to get the next generation involved.
Seeing old friends. (We mean friends who we’ve known for a long time.)
Driving the Daytona kart track. It offers a fast, flowing layout that’s challenging to the experienced while welcoming to novices.
Driving home after a good day doing car stuff.
After this weekend’s UTCC, we’ll get the car up on the lift. We need to install those new Powerflex bushings and make some suspension adjustments.

Missed you on Saturday. Sunday we did work around the house (adulting).
I ran some video this weekend, too. Not sure what, if anything, we'll do with it, but on one run I blew the first left-hander–just locked up a front tire. (The smoke looked cool.)
But after that turn, you can see how the whole run was just crap.
