Our Subaru is rally ready, we just need to find more local events!

The new Primitive skidplate is fashioned out of some pretty stout 6061 aluminum. It's light and strong.

One of our earlier purchases for our Subaru project was a used front skidplate. We splurged and matched it with a new rear skidplate for the little Impreza. The rear plate helps protect the differential as well as the surrounding areas, including the gas tank. It acts as a low spot, meaning it will bottom out first and prevent damage to the rest of the area. It can also help the rear of the car “surf” over sand and snow pretty effectively.
