So through some deals that were made I have ended up with the Dukeofundersteers Lincoln Mark VII. I have no use for it and i need a transmission for my Dakota, It still is dumped as in this thread http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/well-i-went-and-did-it-lincoln-mark-viii-content/38037/page1/
froggyclist@gmail.com if you are interested, Hopefully this can make it to the challenge or become someones DD/toy
Thanks!
And you are too far away to offer up a rebuilt trans in exchange.
Motor and trans are good to go on the Lincoln. The interior cleans up pretty well. The bushings are shot. I say, with a spring conversion, bushings and an alignment, it would be an awesome A-B car
Price is Negotiable i would really prefer it goes to someone who wouldn't throw massive chrome wheels on it.
Your almost too close,WHEW! Dodged a bullet.
I'm still double damning over here.
If it helps, I have a complete Mark VIII with all the air ride that is still intact. I am planning a coil over conversion, so I will have a bunch of extra parts. The air ride on my car works well, so if it helps............

I will also consider trade fodder if it is interesting. (Doesn't have to be cars either)
Does the car need any work besides the suspension? Mileage, etc? Do you think it would make it to Texas driving?
Its got 220K on it, supposedly the engine had been replaced at one time according to the previous owner if i remember right, The doors have no key and the trunk lock is been broken, other that seems solid, however i would be leery doing a drive like that as there is ZERO suspension travel so you are riding on just the tires essentially,
<--- Previous Owner
When I got it, the previous owner said the motor had been replaced, but he showed no documentation of it. Motor is great, trans is great. If it had the suspension converted or fixed, it would make it to Texas without any problems. But in its current condition, it could be probably driven across town at slow speeds due to ground clearance.
