I'm just hopping my Drag time has a 2nd number smaller then 4.

Bring it.
BTW, if you need a license Calvin and I will help you with the process and sign offs.

My cars are all trash.
There, I talked about trash!
Slowbird, Your trash talk sucks....let me help...
Hey squisheyfishy (or whatever the OP name is), do you want your ass beat by a 6 cylinder or a V8?
I wanna see someone win the drag race with a 4-cylinder. I'll buy a pizza for whoever pulls that off.
But it won't be me because my four-cylinder cars are too slow! Ha!
(Okay, still not good at the trash talking I guess. )

Yaaa...
But Matt Stepp and Pat Culkin deserve pizzas.

Dealers choice.
You got it squishyfishy.

Ah heck, that's true.
Ok, revising my statement: I wanna see someone win the drag race with a 3-cylinder. So there.

23 second quarter mile time it is then.

No more liquid lunches for you.

Nice
im sure one day something will win with no cylinders (electric) then we can all cry together.
until then, just look forward to the nelsons crying in 2021 when my rust bucket and Chinese whirly bird pulls the chute at 150 out front.

My first year Challenge Miata beat that with a bad clutch slave cylinder. But I guess everyone needs their own stretch goal.

We plan to do electric in the future
On a serious note... The $2000 Challenge mph records have been 119+ in 2003 (Lawson), 128.2 from 2004 to 2005 (West Side), 128.71 from 2006 to 2009, 132+ from 2010 to 2016 (West Side) and the current record is 141.25 set in 2017. I will put up $100 for the fastest mph of the day over the current record.

Adding this to my already long list of questionably attainable goals.

If I gut the Impala, and sell enough to stuff nitrous in it, I might get into the 13s
My best shot at the Nelsons for the overall was in 2015. We focused on what we were good at. AutoX, and Concors.
I told my team in order to win, we needed to beat the 2nd place AutoX by a full second, and beat the Nelsons by 4 seconds on the AutoX.
They asked why. I said because the Nelsons could post deep 10's all day long, and we would struggle to get out of the 13's in a turbo Miata. 3 seconds. Plus 1 second margin for a buffer.
That was the year they figured out how to make Bugzilla turn. At the end of the AutoX, we were ahead of the Nelsons, but only by 1.5 seconds.
Game over.
Car had turbo AND nitrous. (Never tested). My team was upset with me I never pulled the trigger on the nitrous. I told them there was no point with the strong likelihood we could blow the engine, when the best we could hope for was a half second, and we were down 1.5.
I was proud to be standing on the podium next to Andrew. He's the only guy I was ok with beating me that day.
But yes, there are many ways to skin this cat. Play to your strengths.
Oh, and fishyboy:
There is NO SUCH THING as "almost had you". First guy across the finish line. That's all that matters. No "almost".

In reply to SVreX (Forum Supporter) :
You really should have used the nitrous. It cut just over 1s off Datsaniti's ET.
Also it feels good.
In reply to maschinenbau (I live here) :
I like nitrous.
But we were running a 230,000 mile 1.6L stock engine with the boost cranked to 22. We were pulling 1.6 second 60' launches.
Trying to pump nitrous through the turbo was a pretty excellent recipe for scattered parts.
I was there to win, and I would have done it if there was any chance at all. But that car wasn't gonna run an 11.0. The math said no.
Shrapnel makes a great YouTube video, but it doesn't win races.
