I saw this while procrastinating for finals. I'm not a honda guy, but a 1 owner 90k mile car sounds like it could be fun, even if it's not an si (it is a 5spd though). Maybe do a k series swap? It looks fairly clean imo. The ad has IL plates pictured, a vin # and a phone number, it seems fairly legit.

I didn't need to see that. He doesn't know what he's got.
The lightest version available of the CRX, ideal candidate for a swap. A swap I still want to do. How much was that again...?
I'm strictly looking for a miata or f-body, but I strongly considered abandoning that agenda for this car. At the end of the day though, I want some rwd open roof fun, I already have a fwd dd.
I have no love for honda's but I would drive the hell out of that. That is remarkably clean for an IL car.
It's not an IL car. The guy states it was garage kept in CA until recently.
Would it really have a 4 speed?

I left message last night still no word.

Negatory, 5 speed with a super tall 5th.
Attain or best the mpg of most modern hybrids with this.
Possibly the best shape and cheapest asking price dd deal I've seen all year.

What is your budget, and when are you looking to buy? I'll keep an eye out for you. Might want to get on the Peoria Miata site. Seems like there is 1-5 posted for sale there a month.
Performance clutch, lower the center of gravity, and call it a day. Could be a very fun DD.

And I'll be driving to Springfield from Bloomington on Saturday... (But I am not the one wanting a Miata, oceanax13 is. I have a Miata)
Unfortunately, I am busy all day. But if there are any hockey fans, come on out to the Guns and Hoses game in Springfield! Yours truly will be wearing the stripes.
In reply to mtn:
No kidding? Very cool good luck. Course if you are wearing stripes I hope you won't need it

Nah, I'll need the luck for the Robert Morris game I'm reffing earlier there. Last year we had to get a police escort out of the rink after one of the games.
The guns and hoses should be fun though. The guy that scheduled us is playing for the cops (I think he is a Fed), and he invited us to the after party with all the firefighters and law enforcement. I'm looking forward to it

I have a complete B16 swap with a clutch type LSD that would bolt right into that machine and am a couple hours north...
Tell me more about this B16 swap...
